Terms of Use and safety

Hiroq is provided by Intraverse Software Ltd for people aged 13 and older. By enrolling or using Hiroq you agree to these terms and acknowledge the privacy policy. If you cannot agree or are under 13, do not enroll. A parent or guardian must give permission where applicable law requires it.

Use with people you trust

Hiroq provides live, one-to-one push-to-talk over the internet. Pair only with people you know. Keep enrollment and pairing codes private. A pairing code grants access to a conversation, so do not post it publicly. Unsolicited contact, harassment, bullying, threats, impersonation and attempts to bypass a block are prohibited.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use Hiroq for sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, non-consensual sexual content, hate speech, violence, illegal activity or infringement of others’ rights. Child sexual abuse and exploitation are prohibited without exception. Do not transmit another person’s private information without permission. We may revoke service access for abuse or misuse, investigate reports and refer suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

Protect yourself

You never need to share a real full name, address, school, passwords or private images to use Hiroq. If a conversation makes you uncomfortable, leave it, block the contact and report the concern. Teenagers should ask a trusted adult for help. Removing a contact revokes the pairing; blocking also prevents pairing again with that device until you unblock it. A different device identity is not automatically covered by a block.

Reporting

Open Contact options → Report a concern, or contact dev@hiroq.app. Explain what happened without sending private audio or secret codes. We review reports and can revoke access on the service we operate. Because voice is end-to-end encrypted and not recorded, we cannot retrieve or listen to past conversations. We do not offer random matching, public chat rooms or a public content feed.

Service limits

Hiroq requires an internet connection, a working server and compatible devices. Initial connection or background wake-up may take time and may fail. Only one participant speaks at a time. Hiroq is not an emergency service, cannot call emergency numbers and should not be relied upon for urgent or safety-critical communication. Use local emergency services in immediate danger.

Availability and changes

The service may be interrupted for maintenance or network failures. These terms do not exclude rights you have under applicable consumer law. Material changes will be communicated through the app or release information. You may stop using the service and delete your data at any time.
